Monster Jam at Ford Field

Monster Jam brings its family-focused motorsports spectacle to Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, on February 28, 2027. Listed on ticketsfordetroit.com under Sports and Racing, this event puts monster trucks, drivers and a purpose-built dirt track in the heart of downtown Detroit.

Produced by Feld Entertainment, Monster Jam has grown from monster truck competitions into a touring live event staged across North America and internationally. The format combines head-to-head racing, skills challenges and judged freestyle runs, with oversized ramps and crushed-car obstacles shaping the action. Familiar trucks such as Grave Digger, Max-D, Monster Mutt and El Toro Loco are among the franchise's fan favorites; the specific Detroit lineup has not been confirmed here.

The February 28 date is part of Monster Jam's regular-season touring schedule, rather than the annual World Finals championship. The show typically features multiple competition segments and an intermission; exact timing and any additional acts can vary by event. Prices currently start around $40, with seats and availability affecting the final cost. Ear protection is recommended, particularly for younger fans.

Venue and Seating Information

Ford Field is a downtown stadium, and Monster Jam's temporary dirt track transforms the playing surface into a competition course. Stadium seating offers a broad view of the ramps, racing lanes and freestyle action. For a more complete view of the track, consider an elevated seat rather than choosing solely by proximity; the best option depends on the event's final layout and your preferred perspective.

Before purchasing, check the event seating map for available sections and any view notes. Truck noise can be intense throughout the stadium, so families attending with young children may want to bring hearing protection. Specific track placement and seating details should be confirmed closer to the event.

Parking Information

Parking availability, prices and operating arrangements can change for individual events. Downtown Detroit has event-day parking options within walking distance of Ford Field, but allow extra time for traffic and follow posted instructions when selecting a lot.

Review the venue's current event-day parking guidance before traveling.

Consider nearby public parking garages or lots, and check restrictions, availability and pricing directly before arrival.
